The audience is able to walk in between Mr. Piano and Mrs. Pile as they engage in a conversation about their world, which is mostly limited to the exhibition space and the objects in it. Their conversation is at times quite comical, and occasionally they sing songs. Mr. Piano plays the piano, and Mrs. Pile plays the bass.

The work invites the viewer to enter another world. The yellow floor is tilted, and the walls are askew. The windows are frosted. There is a yellow tree with a ladder leaned against it, and if one climbs up it, one sees stars falling from a small monitor inside a hole in the tree. At the center of the space is a fake door to the cellar, where a murky persona recalling a devil and a dog appears every now and then — whispering a haunting tune and throwing a tennis ball in the air ( which is all faked with video projection and sound ). The center walls are covered with three large video projections. These images are followed up with a powerful series of sounds and music that underscores the different atmospheres. While one moment geometric forms move across the screens, the next one sees a person lying in a bed with his or her face covered with hair and then an animated heart flying in to the hair, a red form moving across the wall to the right and two nasty hearts nagging on the wall to the left. Next, the video cuts to a girl dancing in a strange mystical landscape with a melancholic song playing in the background. After that everything turns black in the space, and one hears monsters screaming and running around in the corridors with the tilted floors. Fragments of different styles are all put together to make a new entity. The video is connected to the space, the space to the sound and the sound to the activity of climbing into the tree and opening the doors to the fake cellar. Perhaps it is like a stage without live actors. Or the actors are the visitors that have to climb the ladder, walk along the corridor, stand around to watch the videos in the space, etc.
